Success!! Vermonts Largest Career Fair

It was a complete success! Yes we did it. AGC/VT, VIECA, 150+ employers and Vermonts Department of Labor teamed up to throw Vermonts Largest Career Fair. Hundreds of people flowed through the building visiting employers, learning about businesses and creating relationships. Some employers were looking for a handful of new hires while some were seeking hundreds! 

Employers used different methods to aquire interest from attendees. Casella Construction took the show with a hands on excavator competition known as the "Rodeo" where contestants would operate an excavator moving balls and other objects. Engineers Construction brought a virtual reality excavator simulator that gained the attention of many. 

The feedback has been great whether we are getting congratulatory emails or calls and evidenced by the employer surveys. We got a lot of press for this event and it goes to show the power of Vermonts employers working together to build Vermont. Check out some of the photos of AGC/VT members booths and setups!
