Montpelier Roxbury Public Schools (MRPS) has an immediate vacancy for a full-time Custodian/Maintenance employee. This position works for the entire district and performs work at Montpelier High School, Main Street Middle School and Union Elementary School. Working as a member of the custodial team, performs custodial duties as well as maintenance and repairs. Will be directed by the Director of Facilities on projects around the District. Duties to be assigned include all tasks required to maintain the daily maintenance and cleanliness of all District facilities.
This position will primarily work 6am to 2:30pm, hours are subject to change based on the needs of the district.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, working knowledge of building operations and maintenance, and a displayed ability to relate well to the school community and general public. Prior custodial experience is a plus!

The pay range for this role is between $22.06 to $28.30 per hour with the actual starting salary based on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, union, non-exempt position covered by our AFSCME collective bargaining agreement.
