Design & Construction Program Chief
The Design & Construction Division of the Department of Buildings & General Services (BGS) is seeking a Program Chief to lead a multi-functional team responsible for delivering internal services to the division. The internal services team includes contract specialists, CADD support, plan review, construction administration, and communications coordination. The Program Chief will also oversee project management staff and be responsible for guiding project managers through the planning, design, bidding, and construction phases of project delivery. The Program Chief will be required to enhance collaboration and communication with all BGS divisions including Operations & Maintenance, and Planning & Property Management. Candidates must have the ability to establish effective working relationships and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment with a high degree of independence and leadership.

Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering AND eight (8) years or more of experience in a senior project management position overseeing multiple, large complex projects including building design, construction, scheduling and budgeting INCLUDING two (2) years or more in a supervisory role.
OR
Associates degree in architecture or engineering AND ten (10) years or more of experience in a senior project management position overseeing multiple, large complex projects including building design, construction, scheduling and budgeting INCLUDING two (2) years or more in a supervisory role.
