Inventory Clerk
Evaluate Suppliers- Ensure the business is getting the best pricing. Leverage purchase history to maximize lowest cost and reliable delivery. Maintain vendor relationships by communicating clearly on the needs of the business. Possess knowledge of alternative suppliers and periodically check to maintain best cost.
Inventory Management- Perform inventory counts and identify trends. Seek opportunities to adjust inventory levels to eliminate surplus. Reconcile inventory discrepancies. Work with accounts payable to ensure invoicing payment accuracy.
Documentation- Record and document all purchases to accurately capture inventory levels. Maintain minimum/maximum levels based off historical data and current/future project needs. Provide an efficient means for project managers to check inventory levels while creating project plans to ensure only material that are needed get ordered.
Purchasing- Purchase?all?materials associated to concrete and excavation. Orders based off weekly inventory counts and direct requests for specific jobsites. Reduce/eliminate point of sale purchases in the field.
Field Support- Aid field staff in material preparation and delivery for specific jobs. Includes rebar cutting, bending and basic carpentry.
Tool Management- Manage lease contracts for small tools. This includes procurement, repair, and replacement.
