Solar Equipment Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician for Worksafe Traffic Control Industries, Inc. you will be part of a team that performs routine maintenance and repairs on many different types of battery-powered, solar-assisted traffic control equipment and devices located throughout Vermont and New Hampshire. If you have a passion to work outdoors, in all seasons, then this is the job for you.
Ideal candidate must have:
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform maintenance and repairs on battery-powered, solar-assisted equipment.
- Ability to read schematics and other technical manuals and documents.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Proven ability to be self-directed as well as be a team player, with the ability to work independently and communicate clearly.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications for different types of equipment.
- Must have a clean, valid Class D driver’s license.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Work indoors as well as outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Frequently required to lift, push, pull and place up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Be able and willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as designated such as safety glasses, safety shoes, hard hats, and other PPE as required.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights.
This individual will work out of our corporate division located in Berlin, VT. A vehicle and tools will be provided. |
