Mechanical Engineer

Would you like to make a valuable contribution supporting design and construction projects for the State of Vermont? We have rare opportunity and are currently accepting applications from Mechanical Engineer candidates.

 

Candidates should have experience associated with capital improvement and facility maintenance projects. In addition to project management, this position will oversee HVAC systems in all State-owned facilities in Vermont's northwest, southwest, and Waterbury districts. Oversight includes acting as a liaison between the Design & Construction and Operations & Maintenance divisions, maintaining BAS and DDC systems, performing technical reviews, and managing design guidelines, standard specifications, and procedures. Additionally, this position will have the unique opportunity for training and knowledge transfer with the current incumbent.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture AND four (4) years engineering experience AND a minimum of two (2) years independently managing building construction projects.


Note: Registration as a Professional Engineer or Architect may be substituted for up to two (2) years of the engineering experience.
