Buildings Engineer II
The Department of Buildings and General Services is seeking to fill a Buildings Engineer II position. We are accepting applications from all architectural and engineering candidates, but the preferred backgrounds are Architect, Mechanical Engineer, or Electrical Engineer. Candidates should have experience associated with capital improvement and maintenance projects. In addition to project management and design, tasks may also include acting as liaison to legislative and/or Operations and Maintenance personnel, maintaining BAS and DDC systems (Mechanical Engineer), and technical reviews. As needed, this position will also assist the Design and Construction Program Chief managing technical reviews, vendor evaluations, design guidelines, standard specifications, and procedures.

| Requirements |
Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture AND four (4) years engineering experience AND a minimum of two (2) years independently managing building construction projects.
Note: Registration as a Professional Engineer or Architect may be substituted for up to two years of the engineering experience.
