Laborer
We're looking for full time laborers for a project located in West Burke, VT. Project starts the first week of May. Pay depends on experience. Applicants are required to have their own tools.
We work Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (overtime as needed).

LABORER ENTRY LEVEL #1: This is just how it is described, an entry level laborer with no, or a very minimum, of construction background. Duties shall include, but not be limited to, moving material from stockpiled areas to the carpenters. Duties shall also include job site cleaning tasks that are essential for a safe work place. Work would also include any other duties assigned by project superintendent or foreman.
LABORER LEVEL #2: This level is one above the entry level. You have demonstrated your ability to work hard and not stand around. You have understanding of directions, your duties will include but are not limited to handling and installation of material as directed by the carpenters. Work would also include any other duties assigned by project superintendent or foreman.
LABORER LEVEL #3: To be assigned this level, one must have shown an exceptional level of interest in the tasks and work at hand no matter how menial they think it is. A willingness to work with the carpenters and a sincere interest in learning that trade, as demonstrated by your ability to take directives and perform the tasks asked of you. Duties shall include but are not limited to handling material for the project as well as some installation. Work would also include any other duties assigned by project superintendent or foreman. |
