Calling all AGC/VT highway contractors!
That National Association of State Transportation Officials (NASTO) will hold its annual meeting in Portsmouth, NH from June 8 – 10.
AGC highway contractors have an opportunity to participate in a couple of meetings.
The first is on Sunday, June 8. AGC of America will host a caucus meeting in Portsmouth, NH from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel.
The second is the following morning on Monday, June 9. AGC/VT highway contractors are invited to participate in a joint Committee breakfast with members of the American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO), AGC of America members, and the American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA).
The breakfast includes participation from the CEO and Chief engineer from each of the National Association of State Transportation Officials (NASTO), Departments of Transportation and the Administrators of each NASTO state’s Federal Highway Administration.
Topics to be discussed at the breakfast meeting include:
- Where Technology Meets the Road: Responsibilities and Opportunities for the Transportation Construction Industry
- Broadening the Base to Help Promote the Benefits of Our Transportation System
- Utilizing Social Media to Educate the Public on the Value of Transportation Projects
- Why Federal Transportation Investment Is Important to State Economies
Fee: If you participate in the AGC caucus meeting, then you do not have to pay the NASTO registration fee.
