Coming up on March 3rd we are holding an in person only meeting to discuss wellness, workman’s comp, employee benefits programming and how to handle staff dealing with drugs or alcohol issues. This meeting at 1 Graves Street in Montpelier is open to anyone but owners and human resource directors would likely benefit the most from this learning experience. The goal of VTHC is to provide information, training, and consultation services to help employers maintain a drug free workplace. We believe it is possible to maintain the highest degree of workplace safety and remain compliant with local, state, and federal drug and alcohol laws without negatively impacting hiring and retention efforts. We will be discussing some of the challenges, industry best practices, and will answer any questions that may arise. This will be helpful to employers in all industries, but will be especially useful to Safety and Human Resources Professionals, leaders, management members, and hiring team members
