Hey there, members — Just a quick update for you all on some government affairs news.

First, the Vermont Department of Labor has released the state's updated prevailing wage rate schedule, effective July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. Here's the link to the full report, with wage rates. Let me know if you have any questions.

Second, a new salary disclosure law for job advertisements is in place for Vermont employers as of July 1. Act 155 "generally requires employers with five or more employees to disclose in their written advertisements for Vermont job openings the compensation (or range of compensation) they expect to pay for the position at the time they create the advertisement," according to the Attorney General's Office. Here's guidance from the AG's Office explaining the new law to employers, plus a helpful video explainer from the Vermont Chamber. Again, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have on his impacts you.

Have a great week.
