AGCVT and Project RoadSafe are partnering with VHSA & AAA to host the AAA Walk to End Distracted Driving & Safety Day; tomorrow Friday, June 7, from 11:00am to 2:00pm on the State House Lawn.
This is an important event for highway safety and we are asking your support and help to invite and encourage friends, colleagues, business associates, and other public entities to attend and engage in the activities.
Participants: AAA Northern New England, Associated General Contractors, Vermont Youth Safety Council, Vermont State Police, Vermont Agency of Transportation, Local Motion, Operation Lifesaver, Vermont Department of Health, American Association of Retired Persons, Federal Highways Administration US Department of Transportation, Work Safe Traffic Control Industries, 3M, Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission, AT&T, Text Less Live More, UVM Text U L8R, and Hallstrom Motor Sports.
9:30 to 10:30 – Vendor set up on State House lawn
11:00 to 2:00 – Highway Safety Activities and Outreach on the State House Lawn
11:45 – AAA Walk to End Distracted Driving, Vermont State House Lawn (Kick off speakers) State St. & Main St.
