A Construction Safety Roundtable will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 7:30am at the Northeast Regional Safety Academy in Monteplier, VT. Breakfast will be availbale at 7:30. There will be no cost to members. Construction Safety roundtables are an excellent opportunity for Contractors and Sub Contractors to interact in an open forum to discuss safety issues that face the construction industry. Construction roundtables begin with a short, safety-focused presentation which is followed by open discussion of topics introduced by attendees. This open discussion period is the main focus of the roundtable and attendees are encouraged to bring topics of concern and materials to share with their peers. In response to member support, AGC/VT offers Safety Roundtables to allow open discussion in an informal setting of current safety topics, product experience and safety related issues. Although sponsored by AGC/VT these roundtables are open to both members and non-members. Roundtable highlights include: " The topic of this particular Safety Roundtable will be Roadway workzones Learn from your peers " Hear actual experiences and cases " Share your challenges for support " Share and find safety related materials " Informal atmosphere " All safety issues and materials welcome The Safety Roundtable is open to all AGC/VT members and is geared toward those with responsibility for the development, implementation, monitoring and oversight of safety programs for construction as well as safety consultants.
