Ken Pigeon, owner of Engineers Construction (ECI), a general contractor and member of AGC/VT, spoke with WPTZ television about his company’s involvement in the upcoming Vermont Gas Systems, Addison-Rutland natural gas project. Vermont Gas is also a member of AGC/VT.
ECI was selected to perform the horizontal directional drilling at certain locations along the pipeline for the first phase of the project.
Cathy Lamberton, AGC/VT Executive Vice President, spoke at the recent press conference in support of the project.
“I’m so very pleased to see that Vermont Gas has partnered with ECI for this critical part of the Addison-Rutland Natural Gas Project. ECI’s technology and expertise will not only help this initiative progress smoothly, but protect the environmental and cultural assets that continue to make Vermont a great place to live,” said Ms. Lamberton.
“Today’s news is very welcome indeed – every job helps, every project moves us closer to a more stable economy.”
ECI specializes in civil, site work, concrete construction, paving, railroad construction, and directional drilling.
Phase one of the project is expected to start in June.
